Activity Guide · Artwork Ownership Agreement · v1.0-2026
Artwork Ownership Agreement
This Artwork Ownership & Licensing Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Activity Guide ("Publisher") and the advertiser identified below ("Advertiser"). It confirms who owns the advertising materials supplied for publication in Activity Guide and how those materials may be used.
1. Ownership of submitted artwork
Advertiser confirms that it owns all artwork it submits to Publisher — including logos, photographs, images, illustrations, copy and QR codes — or holds a valid license to use each item for advertising purposes. Advertiser will provide proof of ownership or licensing upon reasonable request.
2. No infringement
Advertiser confirms that its submitted materials do not infringe any copyright, trademark, right of publicity, privacy right or other right of any third party, and that no materials were copied from the internet or another source without permission.
3. Permission to reproduce
Advertiser grants Activity Guide permission to reproduce, print, distribute, display and promote the submitted materials as necessary to create, print, distribute and promote the purchased advertisement and the applicable issue, including reasonable digital and social-media promotional uses, unless Advertiser opts out in writing.
4. Advertiser retains ownership
Advertiser retains all ownership of its logos, photographs, trademarks and original materials. Nothing in this Agreement transfers ownership of Advertiser's materials to Publisher.
5. Publisher materials
Activity Guide retains ownership of its publication name, branding, layouts, templates and original design materials created by Publisher. Advertiser receives the right to use the final designed advertisement for its own marketing.
6. Accuracy of content
Advertiser is responsible for verifying all names, phone numbers, addresses, websites, emails, QR codes, prices, promotions, dates and other content in its materials before approval.
7. Indemnification
Advertiser agrees to indemnify and hold Publisher harmless against claims, damages, costs and expenses arising from materials Advertiser supplies, including any claim that the materials infringe a third party's rights.
8. Electronic signatures
Electronic signatures and electronically transmitted copies may be treated as originals to the extent permitted by applicable law.
